I have both the disk for PC BF2 as well as the steam version. I own both classic battlefront games on PC and PS2. I don’t know if the Steam has added a workshop for this but it is easy to externally mod.
I don’t remember correctly but it’s like $9.99 (US). Your best bet to play multiplayer classic BF2 is going on steam. PC is the cheapest if you want the disk but the disk no longer can play servers. Last time I found a console one that was used was over $50 and that was the lowest price for console.
